I’m pretty sure the guy in the next site suffered from Turette’s syndrome, as we heard him grumbling and cursing late into the night. To be expected, I suppose, when one camps sans tent in the site adjacent to the latrine… Just sayin’
Coyote were heard in the wee hours, followed by a massively loud response from Howling Idiots three sites down.
Except for people it was a lovely trip. We may go again in the winter, as there is a nice lodge in the park. It’s located in Blackhawk country along the Rock River. Blackhawk was the famous Illinois Native American leader of the same name, who led a rebellion that went well before it was crushed.
Old folks like us should probably behave better.
