  1. For most of us in Oklahoma, Tulsa is considered the east – “Yankee” territory. But outside of Tulsa (and even north and east of there) is still Oklahoma. It’s odd.

    Wow that is one shiny diner! I’d hate to work across the street from it in the afternoon.

  3. Those old brick pillars from the iron works remind me a little of Stonehenge, or the ruins of an old abbey, like the ones you see in England. I suppose in a thousand years, if any humans are left, they’ll look prehistoric.

      Quite a lot of the old furnace is left, though for we in the silicon age the purpose of each brickwork is no longer clear. I imagine it was something like hell when it was working…
